The MAGNETOM Free.Max and MAGNETOM Free.Star scanners were designed to make MRI diagnostics accessible to all institutions and groups of people. Thanks to the low overall height, the unit also fits through regular doors, which makes installation much easier from a structural point of view. MAGNETOM Free.Max has a large bore with a diameter of 80 cm, which makes it unique and allows even anxious and overweight patients to be examined. The new cooling technology consumes less than one liter of liquid helium to save resources. The pure and geometric shape combined with smart details like the minimalistic jog wheel makes a very clear statement.
