Manacá Chair
Chair
Marê Mobília
Inspired by the rich Brazilian tradition of manual weaving of natural fibers in craft objects, the Manacá chair was developed for outdoor use, in versions with and without armrests. This inspiration is present in the backrest and seat, made with a zigzag weaving of polyester nautical rope, creating a beautiful visual effect and three-dimensionality to these surfaces. Its structure is made of a resistant wood called Cumaru, whose rigidity allows the lightness of its design, thin profiles, precise fittings, and minimal use of raw materials. The nautical rope predominance on the seat and backrest creates an extremely light and comfort chair.
