Mandarin Oriental Qianmen Beijing

Hotel

The project is located in the old alleys of Qianmen, Beijing. It represents the essential folk culture of the market outside the Forbidden City, which is an integral part of China's imperial city culture. The designer believes that the design of architecture, interiors, and landscapes is an expression of the subtle dialogue between nature, space, and humanity. It allows the ancient Eastern way of life to coexist harmoniously with the simplest and most unadorned local customs, exploring the aesthetics of history through modern design techniques in the most authentic and relaxed manner, thereby recreating the essence of Eastern culture.
