Maria
Organic tampons for homeless women
Period Poverty refers to lack of access to health products, due to financial constraints. Maria is a tampon who adapts to the conditions of the homeless women, having the necessary resilience to be viable in the adversities faced, so that it's practical, hygienic and universal. Made from banana fiber, a biodegradable material that can be discarded, Maria comes with the purpose of being distributed by the government. The tampon can be customized in various sizes, depending on each woman's need and menstrual flow. Having access to hygiene products should be a right of all women and not a privilege.
