Märkisches Viertel

Corporate Design

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Märkisches Viertel, Berlin. It also marks the completion of the largest energy-modernization project in the history of German public housing. Both will be celebrated by the media, along with Märkisches Viertel’s new future-facing corporate design, which brings together its 40,000 residents and captures the essence of Berlin’s satellite city. At the heart of the new CD is a circle, split into quarters. It is also the foundation of which the design system is built. The dynamic logo is immediately recognizable and as diverse as the residents themselves. It simultaneously represents their variety and individuality.
