The marSeal 5 plus instrument features an integrated cutting blade that is used to cut through the tissue in the center of the sealing area immediately after sealing. The sealing process is continuously monitored. All this without changing the instrument and in a single step. This saves valuable surgery time and therefore money. The marSeal 5 plus is good for the environment because the disposable portion of the instrument has been reduced to a minimum. The instrument features a disposable cutting blade. The remaining components, such as handle and shaft, will be reprocessed and sterilized.
