Smart garment

Martioga is a yoga garment that works with a smartphone app to give its wearer a personalized yoga training. Integrated sensors and flexible conductive fabric are combined to collect instant body data and evaluate the effectiveness of the exercise. Additionally, yoga guidance is offered through multi-modal feedback based on the data collected. The potential uses of this wearable system are not limited to yoga, but also include other sports with high muscle control requirements. It has great potential for professional training as well as daily fitness.

JURY STATEMENT

As an interactive wearable system creating two-way interaction (body signal to training guide), it offers a smart and effective way to train. With AI empowerment, this becomes a wearable gym, ensuring a thorough workout in any location.

WINNER STATEMENT

Winning an iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD has inspired me so much! Our project was about bringing technology closer to the body in a responsible and respectful way. It shows the positive impact that technology can have on mental and physical health, both very important right now.
