Located in Bao’an District, Shenzhen, this project is a commercial street that integrates gastronomy, entertainment, and shopping. It draws on classic Chinese architectural elements, blending modern gastronomic and commercial activities into the classic ancient commercial street. Consumers walk along the street as if they are experiencing a lively ancient bazaar illuminated by numerous lanterns at night. Inspired by “Along the River During the Qingming Festival”, the famous Chinese painting by Song Dynasty painter Zhang Zeduan, the design uses the montage technique to reconstruct scenes and the cultural atmosphere of the classic painting.
