Lower Back Disorders represent the most common and expensive musculoskeletal problems in the occupational field. They represent around 20% of all accidents and occupational diseases, 25% of all annual expenses for the determination of damage and 25% of all days of absence from work with an annual prevalence estimated in many studies of around 18%. In order to re-evaluate the risk of the onset of LBD, various risk assessment methods have been developed over the years aimed at identifying high-risk jobs and assessing the effectiveness of ergonomic design or correction interventions.
