Mercedes Skulptur
Film
Oliver Schrott Kommunikation GmbH
On the Mercedes-Benz press conference at the North American International Auto Show 2010 the automobile manufacturer presented a sculpture that transports car design into a new, artistic reality. The film shows the evolution and formal language of this unseen object in a very aesthetic and abstract way. Using the worlds only high-speed motion control system and shooting it with a high-speed camera at 500 to 1,000 frames per second, the result is a movie with fascinating slow motion shots. Real elements and digitally created shapes interact with the sculpture, describe its shapes and underline the emotional aspect of the art piece.
