The Mercury Marine ERC (Electronic Remote Control) replaces the traditional cable driven shift and throttle control for Mercury engines. It works for both inboard and outboard engines. With a control pad in the middle, it allows for finite controls of the engine functions. The design is based on an ergonomic approach to surfacing, allowing for the creation of fluid and comfortable touch points. The co-molded surface of the handles flows seamlessly into the arm handle and is visually blended with the base. Sculpted surfacing in the middle of the base allows for a palm rest and access to finite trim control.
