Just as with conventional single-lever fittings, the water flow in Metris Select is opened with the handle, which controls the temperature and volume of water. After that the user can turn the water flow on / off with the Select button placed above the extractable spout. Using this spout, the sink can be cleaned quickly and easily, pots can be filled and plants watered. The on / off symbol on the extractable spout can be pressed when required to stop or start the water flow. Neither electricity nor additional devices are needed for this added benefit. A newly developed shut-off valve closes and opens the water flow at the press of a button.
