Metropolis
Beer tap
Mahou
The designers revisited the year of the founding of Mahou (1890) and the following decades when Madrid's Gran Vía became a cosmopolitan hub of the city. The Metropolis building (1910) at the confluence of the Gran Vía and Alcalá street greets pedestrians who approach this historic street in Madrid from the Plaza Cibeles. The Metropolis column is a symbol of this iconic building, narrow and wedged, crowned with a dark slate roof and the gold color of Mahou. The plaque on this beer tap is positioned in an innovative way that connects with customers from more angles and increases the visibility of the Mahou name.
