The Microsoft Media Centre Remote Control is a remote control and USB receiver package that is compatible with a media centre PC. By connecting the receiver via USB to a media centre computer, the user can browse and direct with the remote control the PC to access digital/broadcasted content, transforming the PC into a home entertainment hub. A clean uncluttered layout in combination with a soft glow of light prompts the user gently of the main controls. The unique ‘V’shape taper from both ends towards the navigation cluster intuitively focuses the attention of the user towards the navigation, converging hardware with software.
