Typeface

Xiaomi joined forces with Monotype Font and Hanyi Font to launch the MiSans Global font customization project. This is an enormous font family that covers over 20 writing systems and supports more than 600 languages and 100,000 glyphs that include over 60,000 uncommon Chinese characters. As the default font for the Xiaomi HyperOS system, it had to be clear, human-centric, and have a unified visual style to create consistency in the multi-language information experience. Our goal was to deliver an interconnected multilingual experience for both domestic and international users of Xiaomi HyperOS.
