MIWA YUGAWARA is a small natural hot spring resort that integrates a traditional Japanese inn concept (ryokan) with modern architecture. Past the symbolic golden entrance at the center of the black façade with wings spread to the left and right, the mountains and nature that expand in front enhance the visitor’s feeling of expansion. The open-air baths in all guest rooms offer guests a private and unique experience, a new type of Japanese ryokan.
