Corporate Identity

National Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea

The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea’s foremost museum devoted to modern and contemporary Korean art, underwent a rebranding consisting of the designation of its new name, MMCA, and an integrated museum identity to encompass all four locations. Combining the initials in an asymmetrical shape, the logo, which serves as a central element, reflects the museum’s concept: a window into the future, a window into culture. By producing a wealth of coherent visual images throughout the museum, the new identity will better position MMCA to become a global art institution and engage with audiences of all ages and nationalities.
