Mobile Library' was commissioned by Seoul Innovation Park and the municipal government of Seoul to revitalize a derelict 100,000-square-meter site. The key concept is to inject dynamism into even the most basic geometries. Each pavilion is named after its externally exposed cladding features, such as pipe, mirage, block or membrane pavilion. The unique feature of Pipe Pavilion are the vertical stripes of exterior piping. The scaffolding tubes, which are often used on construction sites, are colored. Mirage Pavilion reflects its surroundings on curved stainless-steel panels.
