In February 2020, for the first time in its 44 years of recording Korean design history, Monthly DESIGN underwent a redesign for its 500th issue. Going forward, to reinforce the identity of a leading design magazine, Monthly DESIGN is being positioned as a book and magazine hybrid. This will combine the benefits of each medium: providing extensive viewpoints with information and offering in-depth knowledge. In addition, the magazine is going interactive, which reveals the magazine’s archival function, significance, and value as a leading platform.
