Our design began with a challenge: Can a single sheet of paper hold everything? Our answer to this is this "Mortise-and-Tenon" Toolbox Packaging Design that combines "packaging" and "storage" functions in one. Inspired by the traditional Chinese woodworking craft of "mortise and tenon", this design abandons the use of adhesives and any extra components for assembly. The entire packaging is formed as a complete unit from just one sheet of paper through folding, insertion, and locking designs, with its molding stability relying 100% on its own snap-fit structure.
