Modular transport infrastructure system

MOTIS (Modular Transport Infrastructure System) represents a radical new approach to creating transport infrastructure facilities, with a modular system that integrates the functions of shelter, lighting and street furniture. MOTIS is built around a series of "goal posts" on which structural steel channel sections are mounted to create enclosed, cantilevered or gull-wing shelters, ticket and information kiosks, screen walls, signs, lighting columns and a full range of street furniture. These core building blocks can be combined in limitless permutations, and when clad with the MOTIS series of aluminium profiles (housing power and data cables) provide many additional functions and finish options. Even greater flexibility is created through the use of interchangeable fascias, allowing the creation of different finished appearances tailored to each unique location. The overall effect is a system that is stylish and practical as well as radical and functional.
