Tea packaging

Song Mountain Tea comes in three strengths, from light to strong depending on the roasting time. The design of the packaging, therefore, needed to visually differentiate between the three varieties while conveying a unified concept of the high mountains and the charcoal roasting process to the consumer. Tea packaging tends to use hand-painted illustrations. However, in this case, the designers chose to use the paper itself – subjected to a variety of techniques including folding, laser engraving, and bronzing – to create an image reminiscent of a Chinese landscape painting.

iF GOLD STATEMENT

The packaging of Song Chinese tea is a fine example of a bright idea beautifully crafted. The quality of materials used is exceptional, and the experience of unveiling the pack is a delight for the consumer. The delicate tactile impression of the materials fully supports the product truth of a fine quality tea.
