The FM37 interface works on two levels; for configuration and browsing playlists, a normal point and click mode is used, while for music and videos, a new gestural mode recreates the ease and simplicity of analogue control. Draw a circle on the screen to adjust the volume; wipe the display from one side of the screen to the other and the FM37 will skip to the next track. These gestural motions are enriched by a ghost effect the path traced by the finger leaves a fading trail on the screen. Just three bold colors black, white and red and a 2D iconographic style further enhance the clarity and response of the FM37s interaction.
