Conceptualized as a “Synchronized Performance Bike,” the MT-09 is a sport model powered by an 850 cc in-line 3-cylinder engine and boasting performance tuned to maximize the pleasure of controlling the machine at will in the daily-use speed range. It embodies the universal appeal of motorcycles in “fun of riding,” “sound and pulse” and “design”. The “hybrid design” mixes elements of a roadster bike and a motard bike, synchronizing the “mass forward” silhouette for the image of a machine with light handling that can be ridden freely, a centralization of mass that expresses agility and aspects that create a motard and off-road machine image.
