Rescue Tube
When accidents happen at the sea, there are often not enough lifebelts for the people involved, which means the number of deaths and disappearances are likely to increase. To resolve this problem, we designed the "Multi Tube", which can rescue up to five people at the same time. If the victim in the tube presses the push button built into the main tube, he or she can rescue other victims. The Multi Tube can also be easily located at night because of its light. This concept increases the efficiency of a rescue tube by a factor of five and reduces the space needed to store the tubes on board by one-fifth.
We would like to check if we have possibility and competence for design since our major is industrial design. Even it was the first challenge for international contest, IF, but we have the honor to be awarded a prize after we competed with many teams. We discussed together after we exchanged opinions with other colleagues. Also we modified our design several times to make it perfect. Thus, we could produce a good result. Even though we still have a lack of experience, we will continue to do our best on our field.
