Water purifier and stove

The designers discovered that many people in sub-Saharan Africa lack suitable kitchen utensils and clean sanitary conditions in their homes, which can lead to the spread of diseases. In response, they came up with a stove that doubles as a water purifier and is ingeniously adapted to local conditions. It can replace stones to support a pot during cooking. The inside of the stove is hollow like a kettle, so it can be filled with water, and the boiled water used for drinking once cool.
