X-ray system

Siemens Healthcare GmbH

The X-ray system Multitom Rax combines functions from different clinical fields. The ceiling-mounted system allows tube and detector e.g. circular moves comparable to a CT or C-arm. Target for the product design was the formal reduction and integration into the product portfolio. A dynamic design feature of the chamfer sets formal focuses on three main functional groups (detector, tube, table) and resolves the complexity of the system, thus increasing the functionality for the user. Smart positioning of the operating and display elements ensures easy handling. The design language with defined but soft edges provides safety and precision.
