MuOvO - Sensory Educative Memory Game from Food Waste

Transformed Wasted Material - EggShells

MuOvO takes a novel approach to the traditional game of memory by involving more senses, such as touch and smell, in addition to visuals. The goal was to create functional materials from everyday items we discard every day. By raising awareness of just how precious waste can be, this design concept aims not only to encourage younger generations to make a change but also to embody that change, contributing to the environment in the present.

JURY STATEMENT

This novel and sensory take on a familiar game stimulates the users to think differently about household waste. Changes of habit follow from changes of perspective. Bravo!

WINNER STATEMENT

We are honored to receive this award. With our educational and sensory game, we aimed to demonstrate how a different perspective on common food waste can lead to new and inspirational outcomes. We hope small changes can lead to greater positive outcomes in the future!
