exhibition on wheels

From autumn 2007 onwards the Cecilia Bartoli – Music Foundation presents a travel exhibition of rare objects from the Italian Romantic and Belcanto period. The focus of this exhibition is the famous singer Maria Malibran. The greutmann bolzern designstudio has created this exhibition accommodated in a 16-meter long truck, which can be enlarged to double size. They have been inspired by the drape of a classic stage curtain for the interior arrangement, which is extremely limited in space: the silky decked displays of the exhibits extend in a wavy way along the inside of the truck and create a precious ambience.
