MYKITA GmbH

Berlin-based MYKITA has been making spectacle frames for the high-end market segment since 2003. In 2010 MYKITA introduced the first serial production frames made of laser-sintered polyamide. The patented procedure to optimize the surface of laser-sintered components is the result of extensive in-house research. MYKITA has labeled this refined material MYLON. It is an exceptionally resistant and durable material and its remarkable lightness translates into unmatched wearability, however large the design. In addition, the material’s thermal adaptability allows the frames to be fully adjusted to the wearer’s features.
