MyMizu: Japan's First Free Water Refill App

Plastic Reduction

MyMizu (“mizu” means water in Japanese) is a free water refill platform with a mission to reduce consumption of plastic bottles, connecting people via a smartphone app to 8,000+ free refill stations (water fountains & partner cafes/restaurants/shops) across Japan and 200,000 globally. Using MyMizu, it's possible to stay hydrated without plastic bottles - good for the planet, body & wallet! Since launching in Sep 2019, we've had 7500+ downloads, a user rating of 4.9/5, been covered widely by media (eg. BuzzFeed & Yahoo News) and reduced consumption of thousands of PET bottles - which is critical given the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
