Naiá Floor Lamp

Floor decorative luminaire.

Naiá floor lamp is pure story materialized in the shape of a luminaire. Emerged from Brazilian folklore, the luminaire was inspired by the legend related to the Victoria amazonica water flower, aiming to bring awareness about the growing neglect of Brazilian popular culture. The luminaire is structured through carbon steel stems, supporting the wooden disc which houses the light sources. With two distinct faces, the disc presents almost opposite lighting effects, going from an abundant to a tenuous light. Flipping the disc allows the light to be directed, creating scenes and clearly changing the atmosphere around it.
