"Rain flower" pebbles are a typical stone found in the area around Nanjing, China. The pebble surfaces display a rich color variation of layered grays, browns, and tans. This beautiful, subtle play of colors also makes them highly sought after as collectible objects with aesthetic value. The designers of the cinema took the beauty of the rain flower pebble and used it as the key design theme for this space. The interior uses brown stones in different shades to convey the gradual change of colors throughout the whole perimeter of the space.
