Typeface

The culture of African tribes is fascinating, especially the patterns of body and face painting and other accessories. These tribal people have created different looks that put the most imaginative creations to shame. I have tried to combine and gradually re-create these looks with modern elements. "The Natural Typeface Set" illustration work shows how beautiful and valuable the patterns and colors that the tribal people use are. One of the objects that inspired me the most was the wild tree branches and leaves. The shape of the natural branches that describe a human body in a figurative way is used as the main structure of the letters.

WINNER STATEMENT

I have a feeling my career's just peaked. I am grateful to get to do the design that I do, love it so much.I think my work has a voice, and throughout iF award, it has been heard first.
