It is important to find ways to protect the global environment and eliminate plastics. “nel” is a fully recyclable, all-steel mono-material meeting and coffee table series that utilizes the workability and rigidity of steel. Cardboard is the only packaging material. Sustainability was ensured through manufacturing with distributed processed steels and manufacturing not relying on equipment. The material was processed to avoid the feeling of steel. Seamless welding through steel spinning was used to produce a smooth finish. The large hollow tabletop is strong, thin, and light. The tabletop edge has a seamless feel. A single paint finish allows for abundant color variations and customization.
