NEO₂

Mobile Oxygen Concentrator

NEO₂ is a small and lightweight oxygen concentrator for people suffering from chronic lung disease. The device is powered by attachable batteries and can be easily recharged on the charging station. If you need more power, simply attach more batteries to NEO₂. The user can control the oxygen supply with a detachable remote control, even if NEO₂ is carried in a backpack or sits next to the bed. Thus, users remain independent and mobile. If NEO₂ is not in use, the oxygen outlet can be closed hygienically. Its modern and appealing look and color make NEO₂ a daily companion for lung disease sufferers, rather than an inconvenient appendix.

JURY STATEMENT

A very aesthetic and well designed mobile oxygen concentrator with a friendly human touch, even it is a high tech equipment. At the same time it doesn't stigmatise the patient and has a very organized user interface.

WINNER STATEMENT

Since all of us do internships at the moment, we more or less forgot about our application for the iF STUDENT DESIGN AWARD. The winners' mail was a major surprise and we feel really proud and honored to receive this prestigious award for our work.
