Respiratory treatment system

Philips

Designed to be used in neonatal intensive care units, the Philips NeoPAP provides respiratory treatment for premature infants cared for in incubators. It delivers CPAP (continuous air pressure) and oxygen through a nasal cannula and head hood attached to the infant's head that is designed to be more comfortable for the child. A seamless integration of display and controls helps care-givers adjust treatment in a fast and intuitive way. The overall design aims to convey trust, clarity and confidence in the product performance, making it seem less threatening and more sensitive towards the feelings of worried parents visiting a neonatal ward.
