Surgical robot

This surgical robot enables people with physical disabilities such as full-body paralysis to control devices and technologies with just their thoughts. This means that this patient population who have previously been completely dependent on caregivers is now able to live more independently. Imagine someone who cannot move any part of their body being able to use a robotic arm to drink or feed themselves just by thinking. Imagine that same person being able to easily control their wheelchair or call loved ones using just their thoughts. There is such a huge potential for this technology to make a positive impact.
