Newborn Home Care

Portable midwife workstation

Parents face new challenges when their child is born, and the postnatal period involves several changes for the woman, both physical and psychological. The midwife plays a key role in ensuring the well-being of mother and baby by providing care through home visits. To carry out her duties effectively, she needs the right tools to enhance her work and allow her time to develop genuine relationships with her patients. The mobile midwife workstation includes a specialist bag and a baby scale. An integral part of the project is an app that helps to schedule appointments, monitor the baby's health, and keep track of the parents' mental well-being.

JURY STATEMENT

The project presents a well-integrated, user-centered, and aesthetically sound solution that enhances postnatal care through seamless functionality and ergonomic efficiency. The portable station, coupled with a digital ecosystem, optimizes workflow and enhances data-driven care.

WINNER STATEMENT

I am deeply honoured to receive the iF DESIGN STUDENT AWARD. My sincere thanks to the Jury for recognizing my work and inspiring me to continue evolving as a designer. I am truly grateful to everyone who has supported me on my design journey and helped bring this project to life.
