The compact and lightweight Nikon 1 V3 offers an overwhelming moving-subject tracking performance that exceeds that of DSLRs. Its superior operation, equal to that of SLRs, has been achieved in such a compact body by slanting its top controls forward 6°. This makes pressing the shutter-release button easier and preserves surface area for larger controls. Nikon 1 V3 offers excellent system expansion with support for an external grip, EVF and a wide variety of accessories. The metal exterior and controls are not only attractive, but offer a better feel when the camera is held and operated, making it fun to own and use.
