Nippon Connection 2006

Nippon Connection 2006 contains the concept and realisation of a whole communication design for the Nippon Connection Filmfestival 2006. It includes programs, flyer, trailer, and advertisement and invitation cards. With the stylistic device of projection the concept visualises the coming together of Western and Eastern culture. Although there seems to be some sort of contact between one couple, this contact seems to be impossible through the incoherency of reality and projection. Therewith the concept deals with typical Japanese film issues like desire, daydreams, unfulfilled expectations and distance within human relationships. The jury: consistent and minimalistic statement.
