Automotive design

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.

Nissan IMx is a crossover electric vehicle that showcases the new spatial design required for the automatic driving of the near future. Nissan IMx drew inspiration from a sense of “WA” or harmony and Japanese aesthetics, then expressed the coexistence of “Sei and Dou” or “stillness and motion” in the design. The IMx expresses the core characteristics of EVs: quiet and smooth, yet powerful and dynamic with light, through exterior design. the interior design embodies the calm and simple open-space connecting "inside" and "outside" of the car which can be found in a traditional Japanese house.
