Nozawa Onsen Distillery was born in Nozawaonsen village, located in the centre of Japan. There was an urgent need to revitalise the region throughout all seasons because the winter industry flourished due to the world's best powder snow but with fewer tourists except that season. We have designed a brand story that people can be proud of as their own to spread the village's charm to the world by creating world-class spirits using spring water and harvested ingredients in nature. This unique brand design is not only the spirits brand but also expresses the village's culture through the power of design and creating a part of a new history.
