MUSICUT

Paper cutting is one of China’s most popular folk arts. In order to promote Chinese paper cutting to foreigners, I combined the beauty of English letters and Chinese paper cutting. The set includes basic cutouts of single images as well as symmetrical designs that are usually created by making a proportional fold and then cutting a shape. When unfolded, this forms a symmetrical design. The paper cutouts are usually in an even number series of 2, 4, 24 etc.
