Tacks

A demerit of traditional tacks is, that the pin likely points upwards when dropped on the ground, waiting there for people to step on it. The round cap is the reason for this phenomenon. The elliptical cap, which we have designed, transforms the gravity of tacks into a wavy movement that leads them to lie on the ground transversely. Moreover, the elliptical cap with its rounded bottom side leaves a space between tack and paper. Therefore the disadvantage of ruining your nails while tearing out the tack is avoided. Due to the elliptical cap and certain space in the middle of caps, the tacks can be fixed by two points and enable the user to pull out the tacks conveniently.
