OAXIS BK6001M is a 6” e-book reading device from the OAXIS e-book reader series. Its design adopts the series’ book-inspired aesthetics, invoking a familiar experience of a printed book. It uses an e-ink display to provide a paper-like reading experience that eliminates glare, making it readable anywhere. Its slim design makes it a suitable dedicated e-book reader. The design’s cylindrical left edge gives the impression of a book spine while the remaining sides are designed with a three-layered design to look like pages bound between the book covers. This creates a sensual form that portrays an image of a book.
