OCT-A1

Medical device

Canon Inc.

This optical coherence tomography device captures 3D tomographic images of the retina. In addition to making the area around the main unit’s lens smaller, thus reducing the sense of pressure on the patient, communication is improved between the patient and physician. To make it easy for smaller clinics to utilize the OCT-A1, optimal installation even in narrow spaces was made possible by detaching the operating section from the main unit. Through easy operations using a mouse, prompt testing is realized. The OCT-A1 aims to make both physicians and patients comfortable, and to streamline the workflow of ophthalmologic treatment.
