The OCT-S1 is an optical coherence tomography (OCT) machine, which is used at university hospitals and advanced ophthalmic medical facilities. Incorporating Canon's optical technology, it realizes super wide-angle shooting of up to 23 mm, which is 1.4 to 2 times wider than that of conventional products. What used to require multiple scans in the past, such as of the retina and blood vessels, is now possible with a single scan, making the early discovery of various diseases easier. By shaping the eyepiece so that it is pared down to the fullest extent, Canon contributes to increased peace of mind for the patient and better operability for the physician.
