Beverage packaging
In 2017, Portugal experienced extreme drought which wreaked havoc with the country's forests. To express environmental care, Omdesign designed this self-promotion packaging to celebrate the 165 awards that they have received since 2015. This special packaging has a burnt stone-pine wood base from a Portuguese forest. The burnt tree trunk was untreated, only brushed, and at the front stamped high relief cardboard was applied. Inside is a bottle of water with a label covering the full bottle circumference. This expresses the precious nature of water and the need to protect Portugal’s pine forests.
