The HEM-7530T enables people to screen for atrial fibrillations (AFib) with a medical grade EKG from the comfort of their home. People familiar with taking their blood pressure can easily make EKG scans a part of their daily routine as the HEM-7530T can simultaneously perform EKG scanning. After the scan, it will notify you if an AFib is detected; AFib increases your risk of stroke fivefold, but can be difficult to diagnose as screening was previously only available through a medical professional. The smartphone app provides EKG visualization and makes it easy to then share the EKG data with your doctor.
